One of My Favorite Summer Drinks
I’m excited to share one of my favorite low-calorie summer drinks with you. It has a weird ingredient to it but takes no time to make and tastes great!
The weird ingredient is White Balsamic Vinegar. I can hear the crickets now lol.
Before you hit the exit button, you just HAVE to try it.
It’s important when you are focusing on shedding some weight, you want to really pay attention to your liquid calories…yet find some different ways to enjoy your drinks other than water.
What you’ll need:
Sparkling Natural Water – Brands like Perrier or Pellegrino. Regular version not flavored as it won’t taste the same. You can always experiment later.
Flavored White Balsamic Vinegar
I use a Cranberry Pear White Balsamic Vinegar which I absolutely love. I also use it in my cucumber and tomato salad recipe which makes it so crisp and fresh and a perfect afternoon snack between meals.
Pour the Sparkling Natural Water into an 8 oz glass.
Add 1 Tbsp of the flavored White Balsamic Vinegar
Optional: Add ice cubes or get fancy and add fresh cranberries for color and to make it just look pretty.
This is next to nothing in calories! The Perrier has 0 calories since it’s only carbonated water and the balsamic vinegar is only 10 calories. It sure beats the other summer drinks out there! You don’t have to feel guilty.
If you want, you can also add alcohol to it to make it a little different. But watch those calories, those liquid buggers will get you every time.
Why I love this drink
I love this drink not only because it’s low in calories and taste good but it really can help you in your weight loss journey.
By drinking it before a meal it can help you fill up a bit to prevent you from overeating and also can help you with constipation. And if you’re not going to the bathroom to eliminate, that scale isn’t gonna budge.
I hope you enjoy one of my favorite summer drinks. Comment below what you think of this concoction. If you have some other recipes, I’d love to hear it!
