HOMEMADE CREAM SODA RECIPE

I absolutely LOVE cream soda. When I was a little girl, I’d always go with my twin brother to the local corner store a block away from where we lived and get the cream soda slurpees. I’d rarely stray unless it was rootbeer lol.

When I found out that the only ingredient really to give that taste of cream soda was vanilla..I knew I had to recreate my own homemade cream soda recipe.

Ingredients For The Cream Soda Recipe

Pour Regular (non flavored) San Pellegrino or Perrier Natural Sparkling Water into an 8 oz glass. Make sure you don’t buy tonic water. This is typically loaded with sugar, making it higher in calories and carbs. Also double check it isn’t flavored. This won’t give you the flavor you are looking for otherwise.

Add 2 Tablespoons of Pure Vanilla Extract. I bought clear vanilla extract when I was in the Mayan Riviera last year for my wedding. It tastes amazing. Go for the good stuff…don’t use the imitation extract. You’re gonna love it this way.

Add a few ice cubes.

Stir it up.

And that’s it. Super easy to make homemade cream soda.

I love this recipe. It’s low in Calories, it takes no time to make, is light and refreshing and is the perfect summer drink.

I’ve talked a lot about sparkling natural water and you can use it to help you in how to stop overeating.

PLUS

Drinking this before dinner can help make you feel fuller.

It’s a fantastic alternative. NOt only is it next to nothing in the amount of calories, but you still get those bubbles like a soda. Plus it gives you something fun to drink other than just water.

And it takes no time to make.
